This brand is like a box of chocolates– you never know what you’re gonna get. I bought one of these for an ancient 10 year old Compaq with Windows 98 installed and it worked beautifully. Pleased, I bought a second one for a Windows XP machine and uh oh– it immediately threw up an error message saying that it had malfunctioned and also that Windows couldn’t find the drivers. I rebooted and tried again, but no dice. A quick look at the official web site yielded no advice (no, I didn’t intend to rhyme there- sorry). Quickly replaced it with a Logitech in the same price range and said sayonara to the Impecca. What a shame, because it’s very stylish and sleek looking product.
