I ordered this device hoping to connect one of my existing PS/2 keyboards to my USB-only laptop. I’m not a neophyte, but unless one knows exactly what “passive” indicates in this context it is impossible to infer the impotence of the product. Spending the four dollars isn’t the worst – that’s reserved for knowing I should’ve just driven to the corner superstore and bought a new USB keyboard instead of waiting for this to ship. FAILURE, Amazon.com.

This item does NOT work; don’t waste your time and money buying it. I wish I could give it zero stars. I tried it using 3 different devices (mice) on 4 different computers–3 desktops and a laptop. Windows could not recognize the device on any of them. Thank goodness for Amazon’s return policy. It’s not that the item is so expensive, but it’s the principle!
