I can’t tell you how it works because I didn’t even plug it in. Who cares about functionality if the product is an egronomic failure. The only goal of the designers was to make it lightweight, and lightweight it is. As a result the keyboard moves under your strokes and you have to hold it with your other hand (maybe it’s OK though if you sit on the couch and hold it in your lap). In addition the designers used this fancy font for the keys where half of the letters are unfinished which looks like the paint is peeling off. The mouse was too small even for my wife’s hand and absolutely unusable for me. I still give it two stars because if you want it for your 10-years-old with small hands and no font bias, it may be a good buy for you.

This combo is OK for the price, but the mouse if a very odd shape. Sort of “hump backed” and nothing like the picture shown.

The keyboard works great for the most part, aside from occasional lag here and there and the random moments where it completely doesn’t respond. No other keyboard came close to the range this CAN get. I also do have a wireless network running throughout the house so it may be interfering intermitantly with the keyboard and mouse.

I bought the Inland wireless mouse and keyboard set because I wanted to be able to use my computer through my TV and leave my laptop on the desk. For that purpose it is just fine.

    Pros-

    Inexpensive

At least a 10 foot range, haven’t tried beyond that

    Cons-

Keyboard falls asleep quickly, causing missed keystrokes

Mouse design is made for space-saving, but is not ergonomic and causes hand cramping

If you have the cash and plan to spend a lot of time using it, I would go with a more expensive model. But if you’re like me and only want to use it once in a while, this will be fine for you.

Used right away from the box.

    Batteries included.

    Letters/Numbers look cool.

Works even from 10 feet away.

    Mouse power off switch.
